In May 2024, the Malba Writers' Residency welcomed the Mexican writer Isabel Zapata (Mexico City, 1984).
Alongside the time she devoted to writing and researching her book, she took part in a public interview with Ivana Romero in the Malba library and gave a public reading at the publishing house Ampersand on her life as a reader.
Through a collaboration between the Malba Writers' Residency and La Furia del Libro, she also traveled to Santiago, Chile, to take part in a range of activities at the country's independent publishers' fair.
