Malba Cine’s mission is to offer a diverse, curated program that fosters critical thinking and aesthetic enjoyment, true to the museum’s Latin American identity. From its Auditorium, it presents independent film series, retrospectives of renowned filmmakers, and premieres of Argentine and Latin American films that often receive limited distribution in commercial circuits. In collaboration with various institutions, it also undertakes the recovery and restoration of essential films, contributing to the preservation of cinematic heritage. It is one of the few theaters in the country that still offers the possibility of 35mm projection.
