In June 2023, Malba welcomed the Brazilian writer Andréa del Fuego (São Paulo, 1975), with the support of the Embassy of Brazil in Argentina.
Part of her project in the city was to work on a novel provisionally titled Homem de Madeira.
Alongside the time she devoted to writing and researching her book, del Fuego took part in a series of special programs built around her interests, as well as events with fellow writers and local organizations.
She took part in a public interview with Valeria Tentoni in the Malba library and gave a public reading at the publishing house Ampersand on her life as a reader.
As part of a program organized by REM and the Instituto de Enseñanza Superior en Lenguas Vivas “Juan Ramón Fernández,” on June 27 and 29 she worked with translators in training on Spanish versions of her texts during two intensive sessions.
